A few words about Joe

How it all came to be…

Joe Damaso is a published photographer based in northwest Florida area, but now living in southern California. Joe picked up his first camera for his travel vacations in the Philippines where he discovered his artistic talent while trekking in an inactive volcano and island hopping in Hundred Islands National Park. He would later spend 4 years in portrait photography and exploring the glamour industry.

Today he is well known across local and national photography and modeling networks. He has become a renown internationally published photographer and has been featured all over the world in Maxim, international Playboy Playmate, Sports Illustrated, Esquire and numerous other publications.

I call him Big Joe D! He doesn’t know that, but I do. His work has improved the most in the last year over anyone on this list. He probably shot five times the volume of anyone on this list during 2013 as well. When you live in Florida, where beautiful beaches attract amateur and pro models alike, your game is going to improve. If you’re committed to improving, like Joe anyway.

“The best advice I can give [to new photographers] is to be very passionate about it and keep feeding your motivation.” He says. “Get out there and shoot, then go home and study then evaluate your work.” It’s obvious that Joe is living up to his personal credo because his work continues to improve.
